Strause Residence Marina Del Rey, CA
Director/Visual Effects Artist Greg Strause needed light control for his highrise penthouse in Marina Del Rey. We motorized 4" Alustra Bronze Shimmer Silhouette shades controlled by Electronic Solutions RQ controllers that allow for seamless integration to his home automation system. His highrise became the set for his latest sci-fi blockbuster Skyline. These shades actually played a role in some of the visual effects. Many scenes include these shades heavily backlit to create big contrast throughout the penthouse.
