Silhouette® Window Shadings
This collection of Hunter Douglas Sheers and Shadings provides the effects of multiple window treatments, all in one solution that keeps your windows looking sleek and uncluttered. These custom shades feature a pair of sheer fabric panels, which work together to filter out the harshness of direct sunlight while letting only gentle natural light inside your home. So instead of having to choose between using your indoor lights like it’s nighttime and squinting your eyes, you can illuminate each corner of the room with pleasant natural light, even when the sun is blazing. The fabric also blocks most UV rays from entering your home, so no need to worry about cherished brown wood furnishings turning yellow. Plus, the material lets you see outside as well, so you can enjoy your view rather than having to cover it up when the sun is shining. And if you’re worried about privacy, you can rest assured knowing that the fabric still gives you privacy during the day.
For nighttime privacy, rotate the soft, horizontal vanes located inside the panels of sheer fabric. This design helps add to the elegant look of your shadings during the day as well, while also allowing you to direct and control the light in your home. You can customize each element of the Silhouette® Window Shadings by selecting from a wide range of color and fabric options along with your preferred opacity level.
Pirouette® Window Shadings
This option of sheers and shadings is similar to Silhouette® Window Shadings in the sense that it also combines sheer fabric with horizontal vanes, but it also looks quite a bit different. There is only one layer of sheer fabric on this option and the vanes are found on the front end of the shades. They expand for shade and fold into a curved shape to let light inside. The clever design for this option also adds a cool effect by making it look as if the vanes are floating in your home.
Luminette® Privacy Sheers
This option is ideal for wide windows such as sliding glass doors. The vertically oriented fabric vanes are surrounded by layers of sheer fabric that provide pleasant light-diffusing effects. This collection of custom sheers and shadings is particularly elegant when lit by sunshine as soft light filters through the sheer fabric layers while also reflecting off the hanging panels, creating a dramatic glow.
